A work bench was a sturdy table that mechanics used for doing manual work.
When Marvin White and Wendy Harris went inside what they thought was a truck repair shop, they realized it couldn't be, because there was no sign of any grease pit, tools, tires or work benches.[2]
Doctor Gulliver had a work bench in his castle. He kept his electric tuning fork, matches and other things on his work bench.[3]
