The Wizard of Oz is a fictional character that appeared in the fairy tale "The Wizard of Oz."
Mr. Mxyzptlk once disguised himself as the wizard when he sent some of the Super Friends to Oz and turned them into characters from the book.
It is interesting to note that in the episode, the episode was a singular character that sat on a giant throne like a king, but in the book and 1939 movie he had different forms.
