The Weed was a supervillain that was an enemy of Plastic Man.
History[]
Earth-1A[]
He stole a special formula that could cause plants to grow in size.
He then used this formula to create a giant plant monster that Plastic Man called the Frankenstein Plant.
His plot was to have the monster destroy the city of Lima in Peru, but Plastic Man, Hula-Hula and Penny learned of the monster's weakness, which was water.[2]

- Plant-Like Physiology: His body was very much like that of a Humanoid plant.
- Tree-Like Strength: Much like an oak tree, he was very strong, capable of ripping open a safe with his bare hands.
- Root-Like Fingers: His root-like fingers were capable of stretching and tying people up.
- Plant-Like Growth: He could grow in size much like a plant grows, except he could do it on command, and at a faster rate.
- Sap-Like Secretion: His fingers apparently were sticky with some sort of sap-like biological chemical which allowed him to stick to the side of walls and climb them with ease.
