WarnerMedia is an AT&T-owned multinational conglomerate that owns Warner Bros., DC Comics, Cartoon Network, Turner Broadcasting System and many other companies, and as such, they are the corporate owners of the Super Friends franchise.
Time Warner was founded in 1990 when Warner Communications and Time merged to form this much larger corporation.
Throughout the corporation's history, it has been known as AOL Time Warner and Time-Warner (notice the hyphen). The name of the company was changed to WarnerMedia when AT&T purchased the company in June 2018.
In 2022, the company was merged with Discovery, Inc., and again the name of the company was changed to Warner Bros. Discovery.
