This walking tree was a native of Cave County. It lived in the front yard of the Mole residence, near a roadside clearing.
Maximus Mole gave it walk water that he had found in a subterranean jungle, in a lagoon. The water gave the tree the ability to walk and move about all by itself.
When Marvin White and Wendy Harris took a break at the roadside clearing across from the Mole's house, they noticed that the tree had moved, and so did a rock.
Sometime later, Max uses the tree once again to load their stolen air conditioners into the cargo hatch of the drillmobile. The boulder then erased the walking tree's tracks.[2]

- Altered Physiology: Unlike most plants, this tree has the ability to walk and move about all by itself, since its' physiology was altered by walk water.

- Superhuman Strength: It's a tree, so it is naturally quite strong, giving it the ability to do manual labor.
Weakness[]
- Reliance of Walk Water: It's power to walk and move about all by itself is limited to the amount of walk water it is given, because without that water, it is just a normal tree, unable to move about by itself.

- ↑ This is just conjecture, Marvin White said the tree was like an oak tree, but he didn't positively identify it as such. However, it does bear a resemblance to oak trees, so I assume it is.
