Ultra-Humanite was a powerful supervillain whose super intellect and mental abilities were unmatched in his day.

Due to his incredible mental powers, his brain had an enormous energy output. This was unnatural, and it caused his physical body to burn out.

Being the genius that he was, he found a way to have his brain transplanted into the body of a brainless albino gorilla, whose body was more suitable to withstand his mental energies.

He eventually joins the second lineup of Secret Society of Super-Villains, becoming the leader of the team, and taking on the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America.

Powers and Abilities

Super Powers

  • Unique Physiology: His human brain was advanced to the peak of its' abilities - that, and his body was an ape, whose physical abilities almost matched his mental abilities.
    • Hypnosis: He is able to make people susceptible to the power of suggestion.

  • Science: His scientific knowledge was unmatched in his day.
  • Medicine: He developed a surgical procedure to have his own brain transplanted into another body - a gorilla's body at that. This was a procedure that not only shouldn't have worked, but it should have killed him. This is truly a testimony to his medical genius.
  • Acrobatics: In his original body, he was a normal man, but as a gorilla, he was highly acrobatic.
