The Transducer is a machine created by Anton Arcane in order to transform his minions from mere humans into Un-Men, mutant creatures who are more able to take on their enemy, Swamp Thing.
Based on their reactions when told to undergo the transformation in some episodes, it can be assumed that the transformation is not a pleasant experience.
