Tin is a type of metal. The Tin Woodsman, a fictional character from the storybook known as The Wizard of Oz, was made of this type of metal. The superhero known as Tin, is also made of this metal. He was originally just normal nonliving tin, until Doc Magnus added a Responsometer to him, and he became one of the Metal Men.
