The Green also called the Plantworld; was a mystical realm that connected all plant-life on Earth.
Certain people who were plant elementals were capable of tapping into the power of the Green, which allowed them to control plant life.

When Swamp Thing was attempting to save Abby Cable's soul from Hell, he tapped into the Green so as to descend into the Region of the Just Dead, where he got help from Deadman and eventually was able to locate Abby in the nether world. [2]
