The Death of Superman was the eighth episode of Series 9's Hanna-Barbera's Super Friends franchise; and the 109th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Superman dies after being choked to death with kryptonite. The Super Friends mourn his death, but elsewhere Darkseid decides to visit Earth, believing that all of this must a trick. Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Cyborg decide to visit Superman's grave and Firestorm decides to return to the Hall of Justice. Once there, they discover something shocking, Superman may still be alive. Unbeknown to Firestorm, he is leading himself into a trap.
