A tentacle is a long flexible, often times elastic organ that some animal species possess.
The yellow lagoon creatures of Molesville had two tentacles that they could use to ensnare anyone coming into range.
One such creature used his tentacle to ensnare Mr. Tree, another Molesville native, and it seemed he was trying to pull it into the lagoon. After an altercation with Aquaman, the creature told him he was just horsing around, and didn't mean any real harm.[2]
