- Peak Human Conditioning: He was in just a great of shape as any excellent athlete. He had peak human strength, speed, endurance, agility, durability, reflexes and senses. He was borderline superhuman. In fact, he may have been superhuman, as it's possible he was a metahuman, although this was never clarified.
- Advanced Hand-to-Hand combat: He was a fierce fighter.
- Multilingualism: He was able to communicate with animals all over the jungle, and even with marine life. He could also speak the language of the Mangani.
- Horseback riding: Although he mostly didn't ride horses, he at times mounted elephants or other large animals commonly seen in the African jungle that was large enough for him to do so.
