Swayzak is a psychopathic computer virus who infected the Absolution in the Toonami event Trapped in Hyperspace.
History
Swayzak infected the Absolution and other ships in the area simply for fun, which led to TOM jacking into the ship's systems to help Sara cleanse the infection. Others helped out TOM near the end, which enraged Swayzak, and he infected TOM as a last stand, which was thwarted by Sara and the others going inside TOM to fight him. When defeated, Swayzak broke down in anger.
Afterwards, Swayzak appeared as a cameo when Sara was reviewing Rez for the PlayStation 2, as the game's plot was about a virus, similar to him.
Trivia
- In the online tie-in game to Trapped in Hyperspace, Swayzak was voiced by an unidentified New Zealander who did not treat the staff kindly.
- Swayzak's voice actor, Carl Lumbly, also voiced Martian Manhunter on Justice League.
- Swayzak is similar to Scooby-Doo villain the Phantom Virus.
