Supervillains

Some well known Supervillains:
Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Desaad[1]

Legion of Doomsters

Black Manta, Gorilla Grodd, Scarecrow, Sinestro, Cheetah, Giganta, Solomon Grundy and Toyman.[2]

A Supervillain or simply villain; was typically the opposite of a superhero.

Someone who was evil or misguided, usually with super powers, but sometimes just incredibly smart, mad scientists. They often committed crimes. Not all supervillains were evil. Some believed that they were serving the greater good of mankind, but they took immoral methods to serve the greater good.

There were many supervillains in the world. There were also many supervillains that were aliens from outer space. Many of them had faced the Justice League of America on a number of occasions.

The most famous of them all were probably the Legion of Doom. Darkseid and the Joker also were among the more famous supervillains.

Alternate termsEdit

There were many alternate terms used aside from supervillain. One such term was super-criminal or just criminal.

In some cases, that term wasn't used; and neither was supervillain, due to it not being entirely accurate, but the term bad guy or evildoer or even outlaw might be used instead.
