Slipknot was a supervillain who was in reality a man named Christopher Weiss, an assassin and a chemist.
History[]
The villain known as Slipknot was defeated by Firestorm, which led him to depression, and caused him to go on a drinking binge.
He has since regained his fighting edge, despite at least once other unsuccessful run-in with Firestorm.
