Slash-Sticks were a type of weapon on Krypton.[2]
They were quite deadly, capable of killing or leaving their victim in critical condition.[3]

According to Superman's Black Mercy-induced dream, the Anti-Phantom Zone Campaigners used Slash-Sticks to assault Kara Zor-El, who was a member of their enemy House of El.
The Slash-Sticks left her critical condition, and she was being cared for at a local hospital.[4]
