Jayna transformed into a Serpent[1]
A serpent was any snake-like reptile. Although most serpents did not have legs, some dud. A dragon at times was referred to as a serpent, depending on the type. The same can be said for lizards.
The devil has also been called a serpent, since he has appeared as such. A Sand Serpent was a pet of the Munchkins on Oz. The Two-Headed Serpent of Vartoo's homeworld was another example of a serpent.
