A secretary was a often times a personal assistant whose work consisted of a variety of tasks given to him or her by their boss.
Although at times, a secretary could have other duties, such as a general secretary, who was usually in a position of governmental authority.
Batman and Robin met a secretary at the front desk of UltraTech when they were looking for the Blue Jet. She was quite unhelpful.[2]
