The [[Legion of Doom]] attempt to weaken the SuperFriends by going back in time to prevent [[Superman]], [[Green Lantern]] and [[Wonder Woman]] from becoming heroes. They figure that since Batman and Robin have no superpowers without their utility belts and the other Superfriends are just obscure, one-shot characters, soon the entire team will fall apart. They go back to Krypton's destruction, and change the course of Jor-El's rocket so it never targets Earth, preventing Superman from existing. Lex Luthor goes back in time to thwart the Green Lantern ring from making its way to Earth's bravest man, Hal Jordan, instead stealing it for himself. Cheetah then travels back in time to compete in the tournament of the Amazons, stunning Princess Diana and winning the tournament, where Queen Hippolyta transforms her into a blonde Wonder Woman. Pleased with erasing Superman and the successful identity thefts of Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, they are confident they can commit crimes unopposed. However, when the remaining Superfriends are captured by the Legion and four of whom are forced to fight each other under the influence of Luthor's anger inducing laser rays, Flash helps the other four Superfriends escape the Legion's dungeon and finds the files of the Legion's time traveling, history changing plans against Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. They escape back to the Hall of Justice and go back in time to set things right with Superman's, Green Lantern's and Wonder Woman's origins. The Legion of Doom is suddenly attacked, and they're aghast how such obscure members of the Superfriends are able to fight against them. Now once again a full team, Superman thanks the others for repairing the timeline and says the arrogance of the Legion of Doom was that they underestimated the little guys.

The Legion of Doom attempt to weaken the SuperFriends by going back in time to prevent Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman from becoming heroes. Continuity[]

This episode has continuity glitches galore as members of the Legion continue to exist after the Super friend key to their existence are removed: Cheetah, Lex Luthor, and Bizarro. While it could be argued that Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) and Luthor could have become evil without Wonder Woman and Superman existing that still leaves Bizzaro who as an imperfect duplicate of Superman can't exist without a Superman.

More over Scarecrow comments that Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern shouldn't exist even though he should still remember that the three attempts at changing history now failed.

Finally, despite Luthor learning the origins (and therefore secret Ids) of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern he never uses this information.
