The SSlithis was an aquatic alien race, that were inhabitants of the Vega system.[2]
The planet that they inhabited in that star system was Karna, a world inhabited by other species such as the Karnans, Gordanians and other lesser life forms.[3]
Their race was somewhat similar to the ocean-dwelling squids that inhabited Earth.[4]
The mental abilities of the SSlithiss were quite superior to other races on their world.[5]
Still, they chose to live at a level that was barely above other marine life in the oceans of Karna.[6]
