|Universe:|| Earth-1A |
The Queen is a fair and wise ruler over her people in the land of Graustania.
In the parallel universe of Earth-One, the King of Graustania has recently died. As such, the famed crown jewels (the crown, the scepter which is an emblem of authority) are on display for the public to see. Graustania is strategically located between a communist nation to the East and democracies to the West. These precious items were recently stolen in broad daylight by Johnny Bright.
The young Princess Astrid is the rightful heir to the throne, but she cannot assume the throne and be crowned Queen until her royal and crown and scepter are recovered. Archduke Otto is doing all he can to usurp to the throne. His rule as king would be tyrannical. To make matters worse, General Zarobin command communist armies poised at the border to attack if civil war breaks out between the Archduke and the Princess.
The Secret Six is made aware of the situation and called to Graustania because Johnny Bright has rented a villa there. Apparently the thief is trying to peddle the stolen crown jewels right under their nose. The team puts ‘Crimson Dawn’ on the case, as she is best suited to infiltrate Bright’s stolen crown jewels ring. She pretends to ‘accidently’ bump into him and of course they hit it off. General Zarobin eventually gets wind of the stolen goods and aggressively attempts to acquire them. This attempt is not lost on the Archduke, who also tries to get his hands on the jewels. However, the Archduke is sloppy and the Secret Six are able to acquire papers that will show how he committed treason against the throne.
The next day Johnny shows Crimson around his villa. She immediately spots the jewels hidden in the chandelier. She then calls for her team to come and help. They arrive shortly and arrest Johnny and secure the jewels. Johnny however, escapes. The next day, Princess Astrid is crowned Queen of Graustania, bringing stability and happiness to the people. At the same time, the authorities arrive to arrest the Archduke for treason.
A few years later, Queen Astrid found herself the target of the assassin known as the Kingslayer while at a U.N. Conference in NYC. Wonder Woman, takes on the responsibility of protecting the Queen. Wonder Woman naturally protects the Queen from being harmed by intercepting three missiles that had targeted the Queen’s plane.
