A quark is a tiny electrical particle that is a fundamental constituent of matter, itself being a very small part of the atom.[2]
Hank and Ben used their Blue Jet to extract quarks from various gold ore, and then alter it with their quark rectifier into any metal they chose. Although this was only a temporary transformation, as the quarks reverted back to their original form eventually.[3]
