Port

Port[1]

A port was anywhere in which a seagoing ship or space ship could dock, so as to unload passengers or cargo or simply park.

For seagoing vessels, places such as the Port of New Orleans were used for docking purposes.

Ports were also common on large spacecraft, especially space stations, where it was possible for a spaceship that was small enough to dock and allow passengers to board the station.

Brainiac's Skull Ship had such a port section located below the Star Drive section.[2]
