A pantograph is what King Plasto used to copy the shape of models and convert them into full size vehicles. That is how he made a tugboat out of FRERP.
The pantograph had beams of photoelectrons that activated the molding rods. (also called ramrods) The ramrods were used to shape the exterior of the craft, while the interior was sculpted by lasers.
Special pantograph lights were used to paint the craft.[3]
