The Overgrown Whatsit, as Aquaman referred to it as, was a yellow lagoon creature in the Molesville Lagoon.
Aquaman fought the creature after it tried to pull a tree into the lagoon. After defeating it, he made him promise he would never attack the peaceful trees and rocks of Molesville again, and later, Aquaman was even able to get the creature's help when they tried to stop the tree and rock forces of Minimus Moles.[2]
