Outer Darkness

The Outer Darkness.[1]

The Outer Darkness was an underwater abyss of doom, that apparently served as a gateway to the Underworld.

History

Earth 5C10L1

Flipper Dipper of the Newsboy Legion traveled here when he went diving in the ocean. It was there that he faced Cerberus, and located an opening into the Rock of Eternity, where he had learned from Shazam that one of the seven demons imprisoned there was set free and serving the Dark God, which was more than likely a reference to Darkseid.[2]

Background Information

The Outer Darkness was a place referred to three times in the Gospel of Matthew. Some people believe that the Outer Darkness is hell, or a hellish place, but many Christians believed that it referred to a separation from God, or a "cutting off."
