Oceanan

The Oceanans were a species of amphibious Humanoids.

They were the underwater inhabitants of the city of Oceana.

Physiology[]

There's not much known about their physiology, except that it's quite clear that they were capable of breathing both water and air quite easily, meaning that they were apparently amphibians. They had green skin, and pink fins.

Culture[]

Their culture seemed to be similar to the Roman Empire. They had gladitorial games with violent results. This was done for the purpose of entertainment, so that the people of Oceana would be happy with the rulership of their emperor, who was the absolute ruler.

Despite the violent and bloody games that often consisted of monsters killing regular citizens, the Oceanans were growing more and more bored by the games; apparently because the monsters were always the winners.

When the Superfriends were captured and taken to the Oceana Arena, this proved to be far more entertaining to the Oceanans, who grew increasingly fatigued by the games that were seemingly a rehash of older ones.

Technology[]

The only thing that was really all that impressive about their technology was their muscle control rays. These ray guns allowed the Oceanans to force anyone to fight anyone they chose, as if they were under mind control.

This wasn't the case though, as they weren't actually capable of controlling people's minds, just their muscles. Still, this was enough to force people into attacking each other, which created a great spectacle for the Oceanans to enjoy.
