- Infrared Vision: He could see in the dark, thanks to his owl-like eyes.

- Gadgetry: He invented an assortment of gadgets, such as ray guns that blasted black light, which created total darkness.

- Photosensitivity: His eyes were extremely sensitive to the light, due to being used to see with an absence of light.
