Nabsico (short for National Biscuit Company) is a snack manufacturing company from East Hanover, New Jersey.

It was formerly owned by Kraft, and on a few occasions, the Super Friends franchise was promoted with their products, which was primarily cookies.

It is the largest bakery in the world. It was founded in the year 1898 and continues in operation to this day.

During the nineteen eighties, Nabisco held the Super Friends license and they released many Super Friends inspired snacks, using the Super Heroes label.

Although they did hold the license for the Super Friends, they didn't have the license to use Teen Titans characters, as they were licensed by Keebler, which is a rival snack manufacturing company.[1]

  1. Robin was the one Teen Titans character that could be used by Nabisco, because he was a regular character in the Super Friends, however all other characters, such as Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Changeling; were off-limits to Nabisco. This in turn made Robin off-limits to Keebler, and because of this, when the Teen Titans commercial was developed, a new character was created named the Protector, who replaced Robin in that commercial.
