A Muscle Control Ray, also called Muscle Ray, invisible muscle control ray among other names; was capable of manipulating a person's muscles.

Anyone who operated a ray gun that was capable of shooting muscle rays was able to control the muscles and therefore the movements and actions of a person, thereby taking away their free will.

The Oceanans used muscle rays to force their gladiators to battle monsters at the Oceana Coliseum.
