Moltar was a supervillain that operated during the 30th century.
He was a member of the Council of Doom and an enemy of Space Ghost.
Powers and Abilities[]
Super Powers[]
- Heat Production: His body was apparently made of or at least covered with molten rock, which naturally made him extremely hot.
- Deadly Touch: The heat from his body meant that if he touched any person, then they'd burn to death, unless of course they were invulnerable to molten rock. Moltar was forced to wear a highly durable containment suit so that he didn't fry everyone he made contact with.
Abilities[]
- Life Creation: He created an army of Magma-Men.
Moltar's Species[]
The species that Moltar belonged to is unknown. He might have been a Human that was somehow genertically altered or mutated into a lava creature.
It is also possible that he was a member of an alien race, and that his super powers were completely natural to him. Still, although Moltor has been described as his homeworld, it was seemingly uninhabited, aside from him and his Magma-Men, which he created. Considering that his so-called homeworld wasn't inhabited, it might suggest that either he's the last of his kind, or he's not actually a native of Moltor at all, and he only used the planet so as to create his army of Magma-Men.

Earth-SGC2C[]
On this Earth, at some point in time, Moltar was imprisoned by Space Ghost and forced to be the director of his talk show, which was called Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
On one occasion, while thinking about how lonely he felt; he started talking to himself about how he wished he had friends and compatriots to team-up with like the Super Friends, Dragon Ball Heroes, Sailor Scouts and other superheroes.[3]
Moltar was eating at a table at the Cartoon Network Restaurant with Space Ghost and Zorak when an odd talking yokel came into town.[4]
