A microphone is a device that allows one's voice to be amplified in volume, making it possible for large crowds to here someone. The use of mics is common at musical concerts, and at public speeches.
Polly Lean had a microphone and a radio in her brooch that allowed King Plasto to hear everything that goes on where she goes.[2]
The drillmobile had a microphone inside of it so that whoever was driving could talk to anyone outside of the vehicle so that they could hear them. Minimus Mole used the microphone to talk to the Super Friends when she was trying to get them to leave Molesville.[3]
