They made toy cars for boys such as the Hot Wheels toyline; and also dolls for girls, such as Lil P'tite Miss Dress Up and Barbie Dolls.

Mattel in the real world[]

Mattel is a toy manufacturing company based in California and founded in 1945.[2] The company owns Tyco, Rose Art, Barbie, Fisher-Price, Matchbox and Hot Wheels.
They also have the license for DC Comics figures, which they produce through the DC Universe and Imaginext brands. Many Super Friends toys were produced by this company.
They also produced the Masters of the Universe line, which debuted in 1982, and has crossed over with the DC Universe line.
