Superman uses his super strength to stop a Locomotive[1]

A locomotive is a railway vehicle that provides the motive power for a train. The word originates from the Latin loco – "from a place", ablative of locus, "place" + Medieval Latin motivus, "causing motion", and is a shortened form of the term locomotive engine, first used in the early 19th century to distinguish between mobile and stationary steam engines.

It has often been said that Superman is "more powerful than a locomotive."

King Plasto had a locomotive made of a special type of plastic that was known as FRERP, and when the Super Friends were having a banquet with Mike Rosecope and Wendy was pranking Marvin with an egg that she wrote "RE" on, Batman suggested it could mean "railroad engine".[2]

In Wheeler Junction, the Raven used the gravity field of a white dwarf star to snatch up a locomotive from a railroad.[3]
