Kenner was a toy company founded in 1947. They were best remembered by Super Fans as the developers of the Super Powers action figures. The company also had Kenner Preschool as part of its' assets, which was a company similar to Playskool and Fisher-Price.
Kenner was owned by both General Mills from 1967-1985, and Tonka from 1987-1991. Tonka was purchased by Hasbro in 1991, and as such, it acquired Kenner, which then went out of business nine years later in 2000.
