A sign on a building that depicts a person juggling.[1]

Juggling was a type of circus act performed by artists known as jugglers. It involved tossing balls or other objects into the air with one hand, catching them with the other, and continue doing so, so that it forms a continuous circle in the air.

A poster at the Blinken and Bristol Circus depicted a juggler.[2]
