Judas was one of the twelve apostles of the true son of God Himself; Jesus Christ.

Although he was somewhat loyal to his lord for a time, his greed got the best of him when he was given thirty pieces of silver by Jewish priests to have Jesus arrested; and so he betrayed Jesus, which ultimately led to his death.

When he learned that Jesus was to be crucified, he was very upset and returned the thirty pieces of silver that was given to him; his "blood money." Afterwards, he committed suicide.
