A hyperspace bypass was a road in space that could be used by space ships to travel through hyperspace.
Such roadways allowed for faster-than-light travel and were often used to transport space travelers to well-known planets.

During the Alien Alliance's invasion of Earth, the Vogons construction company constructed a hyperspace bypass that led to Earth. Churljenkins' homeworld was apparently demolished in the process however.[2]
