Clark Kent gives his parents, Jonathan and Martha some Hot Dogs.[1]
A Hot Dog was a type of sandwich that was usually made with a wiener on a bun, although a variety of types of sausages could be used.
Some types of hot dogs were covered with chili and cheese, while others were typically served with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions. It was also common, especially in the East Coast, to be served with sauerkraut. Another popular hot dog from the East Coast was the Coney.

Wonder Dog liked his hot dogs heavy with mustard and onions. While at the Seaside Amusement Park, Marvin got a hot dog like that for him, but it was stolen by a squirrel.[3]
Hot dogs were eighty five cents at Lane's Malt Shop.[4]
