New Earth[]
Circa 1996, during the conflict between the Brother of New Earth and the Brother of Earth-616, Jubilee was writing in her diary about the incident; about how the super powered beings from both Earths were pitted against each other in combat; in fact she was soon to be facing Robin herself; and many characters from both Earths were portrayed in the words of her diary. Hank Henshaw was one of them.[2]
Powers and Abilities[]
Super Powers[]
- Electric Consciousness: Since he was, at the core, an energy being, Henshaw was extremely difficult to permanently destroy, as he could transfer his electronic consciousness into any nearby machine. The maximum distance range of this transfer is unknown.
- Technomorphing: Unlike most technopaths, Henshaw did not just command electronics and adjacent power sources, he incorporated them into himself; energy and all. Any nearby machinery became an extension of his conscious self. He could take any apparatus and, once it was a part of him, transform it into anything his mind could imagine, and thanks to time spent traveling across many universes, he could imagine a lot. Among other abilities, Henshaw could animate the energies powering them, combining both aspects to construct any technological device, control any energized system and change the shape of the technological components of his or the "bodies" of other cybernetic beings (most frequently changing one or both of his hands into various energy weapons). He was also capable of radio communication.
- Eidetic Memory
- Kryptonian Cyborg Physiology: (abilities available only while possessing his hybrid Kryptonian/cybernetical body): Thanks to his interactions with Superman's birthing matrix, the Cyborg possessed knowledge of both Superman's Kryptonian genetic code and Kryptonian technology. This information allowed Henshaw to construct bodies with organic portions that were genetically identical to Superman and mechanical components built from Kryptonian alloys. Using Superman's genetic code gave the Cyborg access to all of Superman's powers, including super strength, super speed, invulnerability and senses.
Abilities[]
- Computer Hacking
Weakness[]
- Green Kryptonite: Kryptonite effected him if he was in his Kryptonian/robot hybrid body. It was harmless to him while he was in any other form.
Appearance[]
- DC Heroes
- The Third Edition (1993)
Notes[]
- Hank Henshaw was created by Dan Jurgens and first appeared in Adventures of Superman # 466 (May 1990).[3]
