This "guy", as Zan called him, was a hang gliding expert that attended the Annual Hang Gliders Competition at Mount Metropolis.

Zan was fascinated by his hang gliding skills, telling Jayna that he had been riding on the air currents for twenty minutes.
Jayna wasn't so impressed, and she showed Jayna how they can do just as good as him, by transforming herself into a pterodactyl and pulling him up into the sky.[1]
