Although predatory, they mainly fed on bamboo.

Jayna once used her Exxor powers to transform into a giant panda so that she and her brother Zan could fight an android duplicate of Gleek that Gorilla Grodd and Giganta was using to destroy the Superfriends. Zan had used his powers to transform into an ice golf club, and Jayna, using her bear-like strength, grabbed Zan and struck the robot with him, tossing him into a garbage can.[2]
