The Gallic Wars were a series of conflicts between the Roman Republic and Gaul. During this time, Gaius Julius Caesar was a general, who would later go on to be the dictator of Rome.[1]
The Siege of Alesia was a major conflict during the wars, in 52 BC.[2]
