The Galaxy Broadcasting System (GBS) was the flagship television station of Galaxy Communications; known as WGBS-TV (Metropolis' local affiliate). It was stationed at the Galaxy Communications building corporately located in Metropolis.
Morgan Edge, the owner and president, had an office located there.[1]
During the early '70s the Daily Planet was bought out by Galaxy Communications.
