A flashlight was a device used to shine light in a dark place, or in a place with low-light.
Wonder Dog used a flashlight so that Director Wimple could see the circuitry inside the getigraph so he could find out what was wrong with it.[2]
While in the dark inside Min & Max Trucking Co., Inc., Marvin White pulled out a flashlight, saying that he always carries one.[3]
