A filing cabinet was a piece of office furniture that was used for storing files in alphabetical order.

Raven's Ring was stored in the "R" drawer of the filing cabinet at the Hall of Justice, and when Wendy Harris and Marvin White were "holding down the fort" their they heard a call over it from the Raven.[2]
