A vase was a container usually used for holding water and the flowers that were sustained by the water.
A vase could've been made by any number of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, bronze; etcetera.

Many vases made of fine china were displayed among Mr. Vanderbulge's art collection in the Vanderbulge Mansion, which was his very own estate.[2]
