Recovery Suit

Recovery Suit[1]

The Recovery Suit was one of Superman's costumes.

Unlike the Super-Suit, it wasn't equipped with a cape, nor the traditional yellow, red and blue colors. It was black instead.

The purpose that it served was to function as a temporary replacement for the Super-Suit whenever the Man of Steel found himself stripped of his super powers.

The costume was capable of absorbing solar radiation to help him recover his powers quicker.

It was also capable of increasing his durability and strength to superhuman levels, although it by no means came even close to making him as strong as a fully-powered Kryptonian.
