Highville was a suburb of the city of Metropolis, located near Mount Metropolis.

Although Mount Metropolis was a dormant volcano for quite some time, in 1980, it erupted, which endangered the people of Highville, as the lava flowed onto the streets of the town.
Only the Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna with their space monkey Gleek; and the Dynamic Duo Batman and Robin, were able to save the city.[2]
