Carlo Di Rienzi is a magician and escape artist. Refusing to be blackmailed by thugs, they blew up his house with his wife and son in it. His wife was killed and his only son crippled. Mockingbird arranged treatments that may help the boy walk again.
Background Information[]
In the parallel-universe of Earth-One, Carlo Di Rienzi was a member of the Secret Six, which was a team of undercover operatives fighting crime and defending democracy, though ultimately serving the goals of a United States government group, the Agency.
After many successful missions, the Secret Six retired. Years later the original members of the Secret Six reunited to train a new team. But tragically five of the Six -- save for Carlo di Rienzi -- were killed when their plane was sabotaged and crashed into a mountain. Di Rienzi established a new Secret Six and became that group's Mockingbird.[1]
During the summer of 77', Carlo is a co-host on a telethon hosted by Justice League and the SuperFriends. While on stage he performs his famous magic routine.[2]
